In this story, it appears that there are some mixed feelings as to why Edward Norton won't be coming back as the Hulk.
The studio claims to need someone who works better with a team. Norton's agent says it's about the money.
Whatever it is, I'd be more than happy to go ahead and pre-pay my ticket now to see the Avengers if that would help cover some of the salaries. With Samuel Jackson, Scarlett Johanssonn, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr., you know the film isn't cheap.
But alas, this is Marvel. The same people that killed Captain America. The same people that had Peter Parker agree to a deal with Mephisto that erased 6 years of story lines and rebooted the comic to the dismay of some loyal readers.
Say what you want, but those folks at Marvel make life interesting. Who will be the next Hulk? Guess we'll just have to sit back and hope their second choice is the right the one.
