I was out at dinner with friends a few weeks ago when this hypothetical scenario was described: You're stranded on an island, and can have only one artist or band's discography to keep you company. It doesn't matter how many albums they've produced; you can have them all. But only one artist. Who would it be?
Would you pick the usual suspects - The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jay-Z, Springsteen, etc., or would you go for someone a little less known, but dear to your heart? Which artist/ band is worthy of the responsibility of providing the soundtrack to your life and memories?
