Pop Comebacks 2.0 - The Return of Michael Jackson

Pop music has been getting a major kick in the rear lately! First, Pop Princess, Britney Spears rang in the new year with a new album and launched a comeback tour, and now; Pop King, Michael Jackson has announced a comeback tour as well!

Michael Jackson announced today that he would perform a series of concerts in London this summer, in what he called a “final curtain call,” Reuters reported. Mr. Jackson, 50, revealed the details of the concerts at a news conference in London, where he said he would perform 10 shows at the O2 Arena, beginning July 8. The shows would be Mr. Jackson’s first major performances since 2001 and 2002, when he appeared at a pair of 30th anniversary celebrations and two benefit concerts.

What do you think of MJ's proposed comeback?

I'm so getting tickets! He IS the King of Pop! The only thing better -- a concert featuring both the King and Queen of Pop! While he hasn't had a recent hit in years, it just goes to show you that his music is infectious and has staying power!
